Easter treat

I felt a little guilty about not being able to take Chick along for Easter yesterday like I was able to at Christmas so since the sun was shining and it was above 30 degrees, we headed out to the dog park for a special evening treat. She was the littlest one there, of course, but that didn’t stop her from exploring. She didn’t make any new friends, but she also didn’t let the big guys get to her. Way to go, sweet Chick.

  1. Churchill! Dogs always seem pretty happy when they’re there. My friend walks dogs and he just takes them over there..every.time. So I don’t know if he’s lazy and uncreative, or maybe it’s a good deal for them, the best they could hope for.

  2. I like Churchill better than Wicker Park and those are the two closest to me. Chick just kind of explores and doesn’t really romp around so she needs her regular walks too :)

  3. Little body, big heart…and confidence it seems. Way to go Chick! Stopping by to say hi – just discovered your blog :)

  4. Thank you for the kind words — I love that: little body, big heart. I think that will her new motto!!! x

  5. It’s going to be awesome when the Bloomingdale Trail comes around. I’m assuming they’ll allow dogs? Dogs need trails too!

  6. I hope so, they have to!!

  7. First off I want to say fantastic blog! I had
a quick question that I’d like to ask if you do not mind.
I was curious to know how you center yourself and clear your thoughts prior to writing.
I have had a hard time clearing my mind in getting my thoughts out.
I do take pleasure in writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15
minutes are generally wasted simply just trying to
figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or hints?
    Thank you!
