Chicklet in the CTA

The rescue organization we adopted Chicklet from, One Tail at a Time, is hosting a photo contest, and we’ve entered Chicklet! The winner of the contest wins a photo shoot with a professional photographer AND gets their picture on a CTA Brown Line ad. Pretty cool, right?! So we need your help! Whoever gets the most likes on Facebook, wins.

To vote, log into Facebook, find Chicklet’s photo by clicking here and then “like” it. Thanks so much, friends!

A little Chicklet

After the tragedy that was saying goodbye to Paige, I didn’t think I’d be ready to meet another dog anytime soon. Plus, it sort of felt like cheating on Ginger and Frasier. But then I came across this little dog named Chicklet, from the rescue organization, One Tail at a Time. This shelter doesn’t actually have a shelter space — all of their available animals stay with foster families until they’re ready to be adopted. The volunteers are wonderfully nice and after an initial introduction last week, Chicklet will be arriving at Apartment 310 TOMORROW for a two-week foster period. If after two weeks it seems like she’s happy with us, we’ll make it official! I can’t wait for Frasier to meet her:)
