Last weekend I headed to Chicago Animal Care and Control for what I thought was a meet and greet for a potential foster pup. She was a tiny chihuahua mix named Gracie. But by the time I had arrived she had already been transferred to another rescue (yay!).
So instead I hung out with this sweet pup in the photo above. His name is Polo and he was so lovely. When I first saw him he looked so, so sad in his cage. He is about six years old and an owner surrender, so probably pretty confused about why he was there. Once I took him outside, he was so happy and loved being in the fresh air. He’s available for adoption, if anyone is looking:)
Glad Gracie is on her way and Polo got a nice spring walk. Every little bit counts.
Oh Polo it’s so nice to get out and about isn’t it? Hopefully you’ll find your forever family soon and then you can go out with them.
