I saw this photo on one of my favorite blogs, A Cup of Jo, last month and instantly loved it. It’s showing Jackie O. and John Jr. in Central Park (by Larry Zumwalt, via NYMag) and it just seemed to scream springtime in the city. Can’t wait for a summer of riding bikes and going to the park.

(Driving through Trego)
Last weekend Josh and I trekked up to the North Woods of Wisconsin for a college friend’s wedding. Nestled in a town called Trego (population < 1,000), we stayed at the Heartwood Conference Center and Resort. The 6.5 hour drive was long–so long–but it was fun to see a part of Wisconsin that neither of us were familiar with. The wedding was gorgeous and it was so sweet to see a friend so happy.
Coming back to Chicago though, was pretty dang nice too. While at times this city can get a bad rap, I love it and am grateful to be exposed to such diverse neighborhoods and culture every single day.

(I think this sums us up: Josh telling me to loosen up and me telling him I like being uptight)
