After loving on this sweet pup last weekend, I headed back to the shelter yesterday and this time fell for a little Chihuahua pup named Snickers that reminded me so much of a young Chick, but with bigger ears:)
The city shelter in Chicago is not an easy place to go to, but it is so, so worth it. The time you spend with each dog, even if it’s only for 15 minutes, is time well spent. It’s 15 less minutes that they have to be in their cages. Saturday well spent, right? RIGHT.

Yes 15 minutes less in a kennel is better than 0 for sure.:) Hopefully soon every dog at the shelter will have a furever home and goodbye wire cages
Both of these guys are such sweethearts. It’s not easy, but it’s definitely worthwhile. Awesome job.
