While it felt like the better part of the weekend was spent in the car, the wedding we attended on Saturday was lovely. It was my first time visiting La Crosse, Wis. and I have to say it is quite a charming city along the Mississippi River (which is awfully mighty, as they say). The best part though, was having one excited Chick greet us upon our return.
This past weekend flew by rather quickly, but the weather was perfect, which you can’t take for granted since we probably don’t have too many more of these warm, sunny days. This past weekend actually felt like fall, which was a nice change of pace after the record-breaking heat wave we’ve had all summer. I spent it outside with a pumpkin spice latte, my bike, a few friends and of course, Chick, who attended her very first play group just for small dogs and the Renegade Craft Fair as the ambassa-dog:)
